About the Photographer

Nikkiah is a portrait photographer specializing in motherhood photography. She uses a mix of natural light and flash photography, so she is confident in all photography situations. Her photography style is moody, with the intention of bringing out intimate emotion in all her sessions. Motherhood photography may be her specialty, but she loves using her camera to document all the milestones of life—weddings, newborns, seniors, boudoir, family, maternity, fine art portraiture, and more. Nikkiah’s passion for photography began at the young age of 15. She now has 12 years of professional experience and 8 years of owning her own photography business. When she works with you on a photo project, her goal is to provide you with stunning images that you and your family will treasure for generations to come.

Nikkiah is renowned as one of the top wedding photographers in Eureka Springs, which is known as one of the most popular wedding destinations in America. Over the years, Nikkiah has been appreciated by her community for the patience, creativity, and love she pours into her in-home newborn sessions. Newborn photography comes naturally to Nikkiah, as she is a mother herself and comes from a big family. After having her daughter in 2016, newborn photography became her passion, and she began the journey of self-teaching this specialty. She always prioritizes safety and gives all her love and patience to every newborn she works with.

A Newton County native, Nikkiah grew up in Ponca, Arkansas and now resides in Eureka Springs, though her heart still belongs to the Buffalo River area.. Traveling to the Buffalo River region for photography is a weekly event for her, as a large portion of her clientele resides there—especially her newborn clients.

When Nikkiah does not have a camera in hand, she enjoys all things DIY—she is very much a do-it-yourself kind of gal. She enjoys summer swims in the Buffalo River, live music, small-town living, dirt road adventures, camping, homeschooling, coffee, spending time with her family, and most of all, the warm embrace of her daughter.
